On Thursday June 18, 2026, Norma L. Johnson passed away at the age of 84. She was born on April 3, 1942, in Indianapolis, IN. She has been reunited with the love of her life Harry Johnson. Norma spent her working years beside her husband running Nuway Press. Norma's passing leaves a hole that will be difficult to fill. She was the life of every room she walked into, always cracking jokes and making people laugh. She was also content to spend a quiet day at home taking care of her multitude of flowers or working on a puzzle or having a Golden girls marathon. She was an adrenaline junkie who loved every rollercoaster she could find and even at age 84 she still wanted to go to Cedar Point so we could ride the rides. 

She has left a legacy behind in her 4 children, Sylvester Johnson (Dusty), Donna Carter (Mike), Rodney Trusley, and Lorraine Murphy(Mark); 10 grandsons; 28 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; sister, Gloria Wheeler.

She was preceded in death by her spouse; her sister Vivian; her brother Stanley; her parents; her grandson Jamie Trusley; her grandson Michael Fleenor; and her beloved Bichon Frise Snowball.

Per her request there will not be a service as she chose to be cremated with no service. A celebration of life will be planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers please donate to Misty Eyes animal rescue or the Indianapolis Children's Choir.
