Obituary

Norma May Griswold, 90, of Avon, passed away February 14, 2016. The daughter of Eugene and Mary Gose Moore, Norma May was born December 1, 1925 in Indianapolis.

A homemaker, she was a member of Mars Hill Baptist Bible Church and had operated a booth at the West Washington Street Flea Market. Norma May enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Norma May is survived by her children, Robert (Carroll) Griswold of Coatesville, Norman (Mary) Griswold of Indianapolis, Mike (Susan) Griswold of Beech Grove and Barbara (Mike) Hicks of Palatka, Florida; a sister, Carolyn (Curtis) Hart of Lebanon; 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl, who passed away on December 17, 2008; infant son, Steven; brothers, Robert, William and Charles Moore and sisters, Brenda Kocher, Barbara Johnson, Betty Urban, Edna Aiken, Sharon Moore, Shirley Moore and Rosemary Moore.

Services 10:30 a.m. February 18, 2016 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, where friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. February 17, 2016. Burial at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
