Obituary

Norma Dell Hillenburg, 86, of Greenwood, passed away May 30, 2014. The daughter of John and Helen Crouch Norman, Norma was born January 20, 1928 in Heltonville, Indiana.

A homemaker, she was a member of Gospel Assembly Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher, sung in the choir and was active in church activities. Norma enjoyed gardening, playing BINGO and working crossword and word search puzzles.

Norma is survived by son, Dan (Debbie) Hillenburg of Franklin; daughter, Brenda (Sonny, Jr.) Carter of Cypress, TX; brothers, Clarence and Gerald Norman; sisters, Shirley Hearth and Judy Quebbeman; grandsons, Troy Hutcheson and John Hillenburg; great-grandchildren, Monique and Taylor Hutcheson and Madeleine Hillenburg. Besides her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd J. Hillenburg, whom she married on November 25, 1945; daughter, Marshalena; brothers, Wesley, Wayne and Edward Norman and sisters, Margie Todd and Glenda Sowder.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. June 4, 2014 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, where friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. June 3, 2014 and one hour prior to services on Wednesday. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
