Obituary

Norma "Jean" Sego, 86, of Greenwood, peacefully passed away with her family at her side on November 2, 2011. She was born to the late Fred and Mabel Long (O''Haver) on April 19, 1925 in Garden City.
Jean was a member of the Eastern Star, The American Legion Post 252 Greenwood Auxiliary, she loved bowling on many different leagues and was also a member of the band at Columbus High School in which she played the trombone. She was married at the First Christian Church of Columbus.
She is preceded in death by the love of her life, James W. Sego; her parents; and one sister, Donna Thieman. Survivors include, four sons, Larry (Pam) Clark, of Virginia; Eugene (Teresa), of Indianapolis; Anthony, of Florida and Timothy (Sherri) Sego, of Franklin; one daughter, Linda (Jim) Helm, of Florida; three sisters, Patricia Elkins, of Indianapolis; Edna Hawley, of Columbus; Alleene Hardwick, of Florida; one cousin, Helen Land, of Columbus; thirteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, IN. You may also visit www.forestlawncemetery-fh.com to sign the online guest registry.
