Norma Jean (Suttle) Richards, age 84, of Indianapolis, passed away January 28, 2016. She was born October 21, 1931 in Indianapolis to Joseph T. and Lucile (Bradley) Suttle. She married Robert W. Richards on May 4, 1957 and he preceded her in death on October 22, 1997. Norma was a graduate of Arsenal Technical High School with the Class of 1948. She later graduated from the St. Vincent School of Nursing in 1952. She attended Community Church of Greenwood and was a proud member of the Norma Jean Club. She was an active resident at Crestwood Village South and was lifelong friends with her fellow students at the St. Vincent Nursing School. Norma was an avid Colts and Pacer fan and she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Norma is survived by her daughters, Maureen (Ralph) Hess of Henryville, and Marilee (Donna Elam) Richards of Indianapolis; son, Michael Richards; sister, Barbara Quack; grandchildren, Benjamin Hess, Hannah ((Ralph) McMichael, Christy and Cameron Richards; many nieces, nephews and friends; dear friend Bill Gentry. She was also preceded in death by her parents, son, Matthew Richards and grandson, Cody Richards.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of service in the funeral home.
