Norma Mae (Trusty) Long, 93, of Indianapolis passed away August 11.  She was born April 13, 1928 in Indianapolis to the late Frank and Beulah (Beasley) Trusty.

Norma was a graduate of George Washington High School and then went on to marry her love of 66 years, Carl Louis Long, who preceded her in death.  She was a proud homemaker and mother of one son.  Norma was a longtime member of the Baptist Temple Church.  She was a Godly woman who had the kindest heart.  Norma will be missed by many.

Norma is survived by her nephew, Dennis (Jan) Murphy, whom she lived with; nephew, Steve (Dottie) Freels; one granddaughter; many great nieces and nephews; and sisters, Betty and Mildred.

In addition to her parents and husband Carl, Norma was preceded in death by her son, Michael A. Long; and four siblings.

Family will receive friends Saturday, August 14 from 10:00am - 11:30am at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, Indiana 46143, with service to follow at 11:30am.
