Indianapolis:
Norman R. Bearden, Sr., brother, husband, father and grandfather, joined his Lord and Savior on June 27, 2011. Norman was born on the 21st of September 1932, in Thomasville, Alabama to his loving parents Thomas and Earlie (Knight) Bearden.
Norman served his country during the Korean conflict as an Airman First Class, where he was awarded the Korean Service medal and the United Nations Service medal. He was discharged in 1954.
Norman leaves to God''s care his wife, Maxine; their three children: Norman, Jr., Patty and David; and five grandchildren Christopher, Amanda, Blake, Michael and Tommy.
In lieu of flowers, Norman would be honored by your gift to the American Cancer Association.
Forest Lawn Funeral Home is assisting the family during their time of loss. A graveside service with Air Force honors will be conducted by lay leader Gregg Cook on Friday, July 1st at 11:00 AM, at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Greenwood, Indiana. www.forestlawncemetery-fh.com
