Norman Richard Micks, 67, passed away Monday, March 12, 2012. Norman was born on November 6, 1944 in Indianapolis to the late Leonard and Pansy (Barr) Micks. Norman is a graduate of Manual High School.
Norman worked in retail management for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed bird watching, photography, and riding his motorcycle. He was a wonderful and loving father and his family will miss him greatly.
Norman is survived by his loving children: Michael Vaugh (Debbie), Norman Richard Micks, Jr., Rodney Glenn Micks, Timothy Micks (Victoria), Angel Rae Micks, Nicole Yavor (Jason), and Natalie Joy Micks; sister Melba Jane Williams (James); 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and mother to his children Susan Micks.
Norman was preceded in death by his parents; brother Tom Micks; and sister Lee Sommers.
