Ruth Rickleff Crutchfield Malin, 97 of New Whiteland, IN passed away March 7, 2014. Born December 28, 1916 in Headlee, IN., she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Lottie (Oberlin) Hirt.

She was a graduate of Pulaski High School with the class of 1934 and earned her Associates degree in teaching from Manchester College. She was a member of Apostolic Gospel Church in Franklin, and a member of the Indiana Retired Teachers Assn.

She is survived by sons, Steven (Kristi) Rickleff and Phillip Rickleff; a daughter, Janie Packer; a sister, Lois Lister; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Lester C. Rickleff: her second husband, Charles Crutchfield; her third husband Clifford T. Malin; two brothers Paul and Joe Hirt; sister, Mary Christenberry, and grandson Anthony Packer.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM Wednesday March 12, 2014 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 South S.R. 135, Greenwood, IN 46143. Visitation from 11:00 AM until time of service. Burial will be in Buffalo Cemetery in Buffalo, Indiana
