Avis Pierce, 87 who resided at Country Charm Independent Living of Greenwood, passed away on Friday, November 27, 2009. Survivors include three sons, Ron of Scottsdale, AZ, Frank of Orlando, FL, and Dennis of Greenwood; one daughter, Sherry Piskadlo of Atkinson, NH; three grandsons; and her sister Neva Shepherd of Greenwood. She was preceeded in death by her husband Earl Pierce. Family and friends will gather on Monday, November 30 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home and Memory Gardens from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be conducted by Rev. Joe Bottorff, on Tuesday, December 1 at 10:00 am in Smith Valley United Methodist Church, 5293 Old Smith Valley Rd. Greenwood, IN 46143.
