Orville Richard Prosser, died August 5th at Fort Myers, Florida in his 86th year. The son of Willard and Hazel (Childs) Prosser, Orville was born February 26, 1926 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Husband of LaVon (Gandel) Prosser; father of Richard L. Prosser of Falls Church, Virginia, Sandra K. Fergason of Fort Myers, Florida, Nancy J. Kirby of Indianapolis; stepfather of David Corley of New Whiteland, Lindora (Corley) Adams of Indianapolis, Louann Corley-Purdue of Greenwood, Kelley (Corely) DeBlase of Indianapolis, Martha Corley of Beech Grove, Tara L. (Gandel) Hudson of Fishers, Jodi R. (Gandel) Klein of Maple Grove, Minnesota and Leonard J. Gandel of Blaine, Minnesota; 22 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren and many other family members.
Orville was a WW II Navy veteran and retired from Frito Lay Foods in Indianapolis after 25 years before moving to Fort Myers, Florida. He loved traveling with LaVon and loved his family. His hobbies included golf, yard work, tinkering in his workshop and reminiscing about growing up in Brown County, Indiana. He enjoyed watching the Indianapolis Colts and Pacers.
