Pamela "Pam" (Hyatt) Francis, 70, of Greenwood passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2026. She was born to the late Robert and Margaret Hyatt.

Everyone who met Pam left with a story and a smile. She loved making people laugh, playing pranks, and offering a Dr. Pepper to anyone and everyone. She was a hard worker, a loving daughter, sister, mom, and grandma, and the best friend you could ever have. The things that brought her joy were fishing, playing games (cards, computer games, and Yahtzee), going to the casino, spending time with her family and friends, and taking pictures of nature and animals.

Pam is survived by her children, Lori (Melissa Atlas) Coates and Harold (Missi) Coates; three grandchildren, Emily (Cole) Keasling, Addison Coates, and Lucy Atlas; one great grandchild, Elliott Keasling; siblings Patricia (Clarence) Combs, Cindy (Paul) Cappuccilli, and Linda Alexander; and her chosen family, Vickie Santopolo. She is preceded in death by both parents; brothers, Michael Hyatt and James Hyatt; and a sister, Debra Mennenga.

Special thanks to Community Hospice Care, particularly Nurse Jen and Social Worker Paige, and Community Home Medical Equipment for their care and compassion.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 25, 2026, beginning at 2:00 pm followed by a memorial service at 3:00 pm, both at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens and Funeral Home (1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, IN 46143). In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local animal shelter and, whenever possible, make a stranger laugh.
