Patricia J. Ashley, 72, of Indianapolis, died Friday, June 27, 2008. She was born on November 16, 1935 to the late Herbert and Beatrice Fuller Ellett. Our mother, whom we loved dearly, has passed away. Her death, while expected, was so sudden that it took our breath away. She was fiercely independent, loving and caring, opinionated, stubborn, yet giving and full of grace. In short, a wonderful mother. Our sorrow is great, yet we are glad she is now at rest and pain-free. She will be forever in our hearts. Survivors include her children: Mike, Kim, Jeff, Shannon and Chuck, Grandchildren: Jade, Carly, Reanne, Megan, Mallory, Lexie, Ethan, Alex and Austin. She was preceded in death by her brother, Dean. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Monday, June30, 2008 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. St. Rd. 135, Greenwood, IN. Visitaton will be one hour previous to the service.
