Patricia "Pat" L. Bright, 87 of Indianapolis passed peacefully on Tuesday, October 11, 2020.  She was born to the late Howard and Eleanor Hunt.

She married William "Bill" Bright and they had two wonderful children. Pat was a talker and enjoyed being with people. She loved her church family and Bible study. Pat's biggest love was her family, grandchildren and her cat.

Pat was a P.E  teacher for Perry Township School Corporation for 32 years. After retirement, she missed the students so she went back as a substitute teacher until the age of 82.

Pat is survived by her two children Pamela "Pam" Bright and Steven "Steve Bright and her two grandchildren Justin (Rachael)Bright, Nick Bright and twin sister Pam Sims. She is preceded in death by her husband Bill Bright and brother Don Hunt.


A visitation will be on Monday, October 17, 2022 from 11:00 AM until the time of service at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Pat will be laid to rest next to her husband Bill at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
