Patricia "Bird" Cole, 82, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a lifetime of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Known to many simply as "Bird", she was a one of a kind-generous, kind, strong and full of heart.
Pat had a deep love for country music, the excitement of the casino, an ice-cold Coca-cola, and most of all, her family and friends. She found joy in the simple things such as reading and cheering on IU and knew how to make every gathering feel warmer just by being there. Her laughter was contagious, her stories told while camping were priceless, and her love was unconditional.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Cole; her mother and father; and her great-grandson, Carter Grimes.
She is survived by her sister, Barb, and brother, Jimmy; her daughters, Debra Cole and Tamra Harris (Shawn Harris); her grandchildren, Stephanie Grimes (Ricky Grimes) and Tyler Steward; and her great-grandchildren, Callen, Austin and Meadow.
Pat's love will continue to live on through each of them. Her strength, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family will never be forgotten. She leaves behind a family who adored her and will miss her more than words can express.
Though our hearts are heavy, we are grateful for the years, the laughter, the lessons, and the love she gave so freely. She will be forever loved, deeply missed, and always remembered.
Pat will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
