Patricia A. Vernon, 70, of Indianapolis, passed away on October 18, 2017. Some of Patricia's hobbies included bowling, reading, and watching football, especially Alabama football and the Colts. She will be remembered for her original birthday song she would sing to her family on birthdays and her amazing homemade chicken and noodles. She will be sorely missed by many. Patricia is preceded in death by her husband, Larry D. Vernon; her parents, Arthur and Ann Hilton; siblings, Arthur Hilton and Mary Allen; granddaughter, Charlene Hockdeffer. She is survived by her sons; Edward Smith, Robert Smith and Shawn Vernon; daughter, Marie Stone; sister, Lisa Mae Vernon; 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
