Patricia Louise (McCool) Pohlman

77, born June 22 ^nd , 1943 passed away in loving care on April 1 ^st 2021. Patti was born in Bowling Green, KY however she has lived and worked in Indianapolis most of her life.

Patti was a Graduate of Howe High School, Class of 62, and went to work with her Mother at "Maxine's Beauty Shop" formerly located at 4608 Michigan Ave. After working many years at her own Beauty Shop in Oaklandon she spent her last 30 working years at Creative Styles in Lawrence before retiring in 2012.

An endearing, compassionate, creative, fun-loving person are just a few words to describe her. She bravely fought cancer for many years and is an inspiration to many for her grit and determination to not let the disease overcome her quality of life.

Patti loved to travel and just being outdoors, she met her husband Bud Pohlman during one of many excursions to Indiana Beach. A creative person who enjoyed painting, crafts with a flair for bringing beauty to anything she touched.

Patti is survived by her loving family, Son, James Jason Pohlman, Daughter, Julia Paige Pohlman. Grandchildren Ryan Pohlman, Austin Pohlman, Justin Pohlman, Faith Pohlman, Randall Germany, Paige Pohlman and three cherished great grandchildren.

Please join her friends and family in celebrating her life at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home on Saturday, April 10th. The Calling will begin at 9:00AM to 11:00AM with Prayer Services at 11:00AM and the Burial service immediately following.
