Mrs. Patricia Faye 'Pat' McClellan, Indianapolis, passed away on the late afternoon of Wednesday, September 15, 2021. She was 90. Pat was born December 5, 1930 in Indianapolis, Indiana, a daughter of the late John A. and Faye (Cooley) Phelps.

Pat attended school at IPS School #21 and soon thereafter met and married the love of her life, James W. 'Jim' McClellan, on October 15, 1948. A devoted homemaker, she dedicated her life to loving and caring for her family. She was an excellent cook and will be remembered for her biscuits and gravy, ham salad, green beans and chili. She deeply loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She was loved by all who knew her. She was a member of the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Indianapolis.

Pat is survived by her children, James W. 'Jim' McClellan, Patricia Faye 'Patsy' Ellis, Randy (Pam) McClellan, Cindy Coleman, Steve McClellan and Debbie (Eugene) Lant; 18 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandaughter and another on the way as well as her sisters, Joan Wehr, Peggy Miers and Nancy Woodmansee and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in passing by her husband, James W. McClellan in 2018 and her brothers, Albert Follis, John Follis and Bill Phelps.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am, Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 2015 S. Arlington Ave., Indianapolis with Pastor Susan Nyquist officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 4 until 7 pm, Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood.
