Patricia A. Turner, age 80, of Indianapolis, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2014. She was born March 12, 1934 in Indianapolis to Donald M. and Gertrude M. (Shaddy) Smith. She graduated from Southport High School with the Class of 1952. Patricia worked for Sears for many years, retiring in 1983. She loved to square dance with her husband and she was part owner of Grandma''s Ceramic Nook.
Patricia married Robert E. Turner on November 24, 1954 in Indianapolis and he survives her, along with her sons, Glenn and Ronald Turner; daughter, Paula J (David) Lentz; sisters, Olivia Grisham and Janet Wolf; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 22 at 1:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
