Patsy Marie Herald, 74, of New Whiteland, passed away September 28, 2017. The daughter of Clarence C. and Nora E. Hill Joyner, Patsy was born May 30, 1943 in Huntingdon, Tennessee.

A homemaker, she was a member of New Whiteland Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening.

Patsy is survived by sons, Curtis (Laura) Herald of Greenwood and Gary (Stacy) Herald of Whiteland; daughters, Candace Smith of New Whiteland and Youvettia Smith of New Whiteland; brother, Harold (Judy) Joyner of Indianapolis; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hillis D. Herald.

Visitation will take place October 3, 2017 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. followed by a graveside service at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
