Patty Lou Covington Khan, 78, of Indianapolis, passed away July 7, 2016. The daughter of Thomas Woodford and Ruble Hood Covington, Patty was born July 7, 1938 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

While living in Las Vegas, NV, she was the personal assistant to Robert Goulet. She worked as an administrative assistant in the insurance industry.

Patty is survived by her daughter, Kayleen S. Khan of Indianapolis; sons, Kevin S. (Lori) Khan of St. Joseph, MI and Colin S. (Amy) Khan of Dexter, MI; sister-in-law, Sue Covington of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Jessica (Travis) Pierle, Joshua Khan, Brandon Khan, Julia Khan, Justin Khan and Jenna Khan; great-grandchildren, Jamel Jones and Ken Jones. In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by her husband, Ishu Selim Khan, on May 31, 2015, whom she married in Indianapolis on September 21, 1963; and brother, Thomas Earl Covington.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. July 14, 2016 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, where friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
