Obituary

Paul Graber, 92, of Carmel entered into eternal rest on July 1, 2018. He was born April 6, 1926 in Montgomery, IN to Jonas and Rosella "Rose" Graber.

Paul was a WWII veteran who proudly served his country in United States Army. He enjoyed dancing and sports, and was a lifelong fan of the Cubs, Notre Dame and Butler. Paul worked for Cummins Engine Company for 15 years, retiring in 1985 and also owned his own company, Graber Associates, for 12 years. He married Norma Jean on June 6, 1947 and together they had 8 children. He was a loving father and husband to his family.

Paul was preceded in death by his daughters, Shirley Rose (Graber) Thompson and Diana Sue (Graber) Burgan; 4 sisters;1 brother and his mother and father.

He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Norma Jean Graber; sons, Glenn, David, Terry, Billy (Brenda) and Stephen (Cherilyn) Graber; daughter, Connie (Graber) (Rick) Hogue; sister, Patty (Graber) (Dominic) Spera; 12 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 6, 2018 from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm with a funeral service at 2:00 pm in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: Liver Foundation, 20 W Kinzie, 17th Floor, Chicago, IL 60654 or St. Vincent De Paul, 1201 E. Maryland St., Indianapolis, IN 46202.
