Paul Dale Munsell, Carmel, IN, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025. He was 74 years old. Paul was born in Morenci, MI to his parents Dale and Thelma Munsell. He graduated from high school and attended Anderson University where he played multiple sports. He especially enjoyed track and baseball and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Sociology & Criminal Justice.

Paul was a devout follower of Jesus and shared his faith freely with others. In his later years, he earned the nickname "Pastor Paul" and was known for his willingness to pray with those who interacted with him daily. He stored up scripture in his heart and passed his vast knowledge of the bible that he humbly carried with him throughout his life on to the next generation in his daughters.

Paul worked as a transport operator for Würth Baer Supply Company and the post office. He could build or fix anything and was very musically inclined - singing and playing the accordion. He also loved to golf and garden - possessing a unique ability to make anything grow. He was an athlete in his youth and continued his love of sports throughout his life. He was a fan of the Indianapolis Colts and his daughter & son-in-law's Tortugas Sports Ministry in Mexico. Paul enjoyed spending time with his nephews, taking his family on camping trips, and making memories around a fire. Growing up on a farm, he developed a love for animals at a young age. He was a masterful trainer and enjoyed several beloved dogs during his lifetime. Being a girl dad was something he greatly treasured. He loved his girls very much. Paul will be remembered for his quiet strength, long-suffering, faithfulness, childlike curiosity, and his ability to sacrificially love those closest to him.

Paul is survived by his children, Rachel (Luiz Carlos) Freitas, April (Jordan) Congdon, and Christina Munsell; his grandchildren, Lucas, Ian, Camila, Judah, Jayden, Jaxson, and Jonah; his siblings, Sheila (Pat) Speicher and Charlotte Ringer; his nephews, Brad (Melissa) Whitehouse and Scott Whitehouse.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Thelma Munsell; his grandchild, Gideon Freitas; and his brother-in-law, Terry Ringer.

A visitation for Paul will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens and Funeral Home in Greenwood, IN 11:00 am - 2:00 pm with the funeral service following at 2:00pm.
