Paul T. Pearsey Jr, 72, of Columbia, TN passed away August 29, 2014. Born February 7, 1942 in Indianapolis, he was the son of the late Paul T. and Grace E. (Lewis) Pearsey Sr. On March 28, 1969 he married Catherine L. Carney in Eagletown, In. He was a graduate of George Washington High School and Butler University in Indianapolis. He married Catherine L. Carney on March 28, 1969 in Eagletown, In. Paul retired from the U.S. Postal Service after thirty seven years of service. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Columbia, TN; he was an avid New York Yankee''s fan, enjoyed History and loved spending time with family. He is survived by his wife Catherine L. Pearsey; two sons, Brian D. (Joyce) Pearsey and T. Brad (Erica) Pearsey; A daughter, Diana L. (Justice) McKinney; a brother, Ray Pearsey; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Robert Pearsey. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday September 5, 2014 in Forest Lawn Funeral home. Friends may call from 11:30 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
