Pauline Sears Strubbe, age 81, of Greenwood, passed away Saturday Feb26, 2011. She was born September 13, 1929 in Stab, KY to B.F. and Mary Frances (Hahn) Sears. Pauline was homemaker who also helped raise foster children and loved to sew, garden, and spend time with her family. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She married Clarence Strubbe in 1976 and he preceded her in death in July, 2009. She was also preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and two sisters. Pauline is survived by her daughters, Susan (Andrew) Robertson, Tracey (Charles) Hagedon, and Debbie (Joseph) Krygowski; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, with visitation from Noon until service time. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. The family requests memorial contributions to the Humane Society.
