Pearl Imogene Hood, passed away January 19, 2016. She was born December 22, 1930 to Thomas Johnson and Sylvania (Skipper) Johnson in Anderson, Alabama. She was a graduate of Emmerich Manual High School with the Class of 1948. Pearl worked at RCA for many years retiring in 1993. She was a member of Ben Davis Christian Church. She loved to quilt and spend time with her family.

Pearl was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers and five sisters. Her survivors include her two sons, and their wives, Allen (Janice) Hood and Mark (Donna) Hood. Her grandchildren include Bryan (Karyn) Hood, Donnell Hood and Emma (Hood) Mascagni; three great grandchildren, Bryanna Hood Cheyanne Hood and Korbyn Hood.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 22, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood with entombment to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
