Peggy Jo Thompson Frazier, 70, passed away Friday, March 31, 2023 after a sudden brief illness. She was surrounded by her loved ones as she passed. Peggy has been a lifelong resident of Indianapolis.
She retired from her career at the City of Indianapolis in the Department of Metropolitan Development where she was an integral partner with various organizations on projects such as the Indiana Repertory Theatre, Union Station, the Canal, and the City Market. Peggy had a gift for developing and sustaining lasting relationships.
She was fiercely loyal to her family and friends. Her daughters and their families were the center of her world. She loved traveling and finding new adventures and destinations to explore. She was the ring leader and instigator of many of her beloved "sister trips." Peggy was an avid reader, baker, and crafter.
Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, David Frazier and her parents Kenneth and Josie (Bullock) Thompson. She is survived by her sisters Nandy (Ed) Snoddy, Mary Thompson, and Shirley (Steve) Hicks; two daughters: Jennifer (Roger) Fults and Julie (Matt) Knight; five grandchildren: Shelby (Nate) Walsh, Ashlynn Holder, Max Knight, Dustin Fults, and Luke Knight; stepchildren Dean Frazier and Denise Jones. Peggy had four precious great grandchildren and another expected later this year.
Visitation with family and friends will be held at the Greenwood Christian Church Student Center 2045 Averitt Road, Greenwood on Friday, April 7, 2023 from 10:30 AM until the time of service. Celebration of Peggy's Life will begin at Noon at the church.
