Peggy J. Fuqua, 69, of Indianapolis, February 25, 2017. Peggy was born June 15, 1947 in Mount Vernon, Missouri to James Gilmore and Ida Chappen Gilmore Kennedy.

She worked as a paralegal for the City of Indianapolis. Peggy was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, loved to crochet and gardening.

Peggy is survived by children, Rob Couch, Jr. of Lafayette, IN, Ronda (Dwight) Peavey of Beech Grove, Terry Couch of Indianapolis, Michael Fuqua of Indianapolis and Joyce (Al) Garrison of New Whiteland; brothers, Jimmy Gilmore of California, Donny Kennedy of Missouri and Johnny Kennedy of Michigan; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Fuqua, on March 22, 2016 and two grandchildren.

Funeral services 12:00 p.m. March 2, 2017 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, where friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Burial at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
