Peggy Ann (Lawrence) Bennett, 74, of Camby, passed away August 16, 2014. The daughter of Earlie Lawrence and Opal G. (Headrick) Luker, Peggy was born October 15, 1939 in Tompkinsville, Kentucky.

Peggy was the owner/operator of the Red Lantern Bar in Mooresville for 30 years, retiring in 2000. She was a member of the Plainfield Eagles Lodge.

Peggy is survived by her son, Larry (Mercy) Silcox, II of Weimar, Texas; daughters, Kathy (Rick) Hornberger of Paragon and Karen Mallozzi of Cape Coral, Florida; brother, Leslie Lawrence of Indianapolis; sister, Leta Lawrence, of Indianapolis; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Latina M. Silcox.

Rev. Danny Thomas will officiate at funeral services 11:00 a.m. August 22, 2014 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. August 21, 2014 at the funeral home.
