Peggy Lloyd 67, of Greenwood, passed away June 15, 2011. She was born in Franklin, Kentucky and preceded in death by her parents the late Hubert and Ida Rippy.
She retired from Stokley Van Camp Quaker Oats. She was a fan of NASCAR and Tony Stewart. She loved to shop; enjoyed nature; walking along the beach; and, of course, held a special place in her heart for her animals: Max & Holly (dogs) and Big Boy & Misty (cats).
She is survived by her loving husband James H. Lloyd; son James R. Lloyd; brother Paul Rippy; four sisters: Mary Beinburg, Barbara Wilham, Brenda Hillenburg and Glenda Simpson; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Monday, June 20, 2011 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. @ Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
