Peter "Bob" Robert Caric, 83, of Indianapolis, entered into eternal rest Monday, June 8, 2015, at his home surrounded by loved ones. He was born February 24, 1932 in Duquesne, Pennsylvania to Rade and Helen Mary Margita Caric.
Bob is survived by his devoted wife of 63 years years, Frances Jo (Narmore) Caric of Indianapolis; children, Robert A. (Ann L.) Caric of Indianapolis, (Karen) Susie Burge of Greenwood, Judy Dalton of Bargersville, Mary Jo (Keith) Hines and Amy Marie (Michael) Amico; sisters, Mildred Tankosic and Dorothy Pohodich, both of Pennsylvania and Mary Ann Loechi of Michigan; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, Bob was preceded in death by a son, Michael; brothers, George and Raymond Caric and sister, Rose Banderinko.
Peter was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He retired from International Harvester/Navistar, where he was a "top" truck salesman for over 40 years. After retirement he worked as a salesman for Foster Trucking in Indianapolis and for Wabash Ford Truck Sales.
Peter impacted the lives of many people with his kindness and generosity; he knew no stranger. Of all his many interest in his life that captured his attention, his family was most important. He will be truly missed by family and many great friends. A special thanks to all that helped during this time of need.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 12, 2015, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Burial with military honors will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
