Phyllis Ruby Meyers, 69, of Indianapolis, died Saturday, June 14, 2008 at Beech Grove Meadows Nursing Home. She was born on January 16, 1939 to George Matthew and Nora Bertha Bennett Laughlin. Her hobbies included lots of board games, hand-held electronics and taking care of her family. Survivors include two sons: Timothy Lee and Charles Edward Meyers, daughter Bonnie ( Everett ) Osborn, three brothers: Lester ( Phyllis ) Laughlin, Robert ( Datha ) Laughlin, Jack ( Mary ) Laughlin, two sisters: Ruth C. Lovell, Louis J. ( Robert) Cox, six grandchildren and two great grand children. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Charles Edward Meyers Sr., one grand daughter: Crystal Rose, two sisters: Betty L. Fisher and Alice L. Kirkland. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, June 17 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. St. Rd. 135, Greenwood. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 12:00 until time of service.
