Phyllis Marie (Kendall) Poehler, born October 22, 1934, passed away, peacefully, under the care of the Pallative Care Team at Wishard Health Services, on May 20, 2010. She worked most of her life in the retail business until she started working at Wishard Health Services on Feb. 27, 1984 in the Patient Accts. Dept., until she retired on Dec. 31, 1999. Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur W. Poehler; parents, Guy and Helen (McKnight)Kendall Parks ; sisters, Wanda Vendal, and Rachell Barrett; She is survived by her children, Marcia Lowe, Pamela (George) Dant, Cindy (David) Poehler-Levi, Jeannette (Greg) Dunn, Arthur Poehler, Denise (Phil) Garrett, Doreen (Mark) Lehr; sister, Jacqueline Burnnett and brothers, Marvin Kendall and Frank Steven Duncan; 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all. Funeral services will be Monday, May 24, at 10:30am at Forest Lawn Ben Franklin Mausoleum, Greenwood, with internment to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation is Sunday, May 23, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
