Phyllis Ann Shaw, 91, of Indianapolis, passed away May 13, 2016. The daughter of Thomas M. and Alice M. (Thompson) Shaw, Phyllis was born July 21, 1924 in Indianapolis.

In 1989, after 47 years of service, she retired from Eli Lilly and Company as an Administrative Assistant. For a number of years, Phyllis served on the organizing committee with the Brown County Women''s Retreat. She was an avid reader.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. May 18, 2016 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, where friends may call after10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood. In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Quick and brothers, Dale T. Shaw and David W. Shaw.
