Phyllis R. Wakefield, 86 of passed away March 11, 2018. Phyllis was born in Angola, Indiana on April 1, 1931 to Ora and Viola Stage. Phyllis was a fun loving woman that always had a smile on her face. She was a social butterfly; she loved animals. After retiring from her career for The State of Indiana as a Secretary for more then 30 years she was a homebody. She enjoyed knitting and feeding the squirrels. She will be sorely missed. Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband, Willard Wakefield and her parents. She is survived by her children, Jeff (Kim) Wakefield and Sally Jo Meziere; grandchildren, Jeffrey Wakefield, Emily Handschu, Sean Wakefield, Aubrey Lint, Daniel Hart and Chase Meziere.
