"Quiet"Ralph Wendell Allen, 77, of Greenwood, Indiana passed away February 23, 2015. Born May 23, 1937 in Fredonia, Indiana, he was the son of the late Gaius and Nellie (Birkla) Allen. He married Lu Ann (Lyles) on May 20, 1961 in Celina, Tennessee , she survives. Ralph was President and owner of Bryant - Allen Heating & Air Conditioning in Indianapolis. He served two times as President of the Heating and Air Conditioning Association of Indianapolis. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and sports fan, and enjoyed spending time with his family. Also surviving are his four sons, Del (Linda) Allen, Dennis Allen, Troy (Jill) Allen, and Scott (Mary) Allen: a daughter Susan Allen - Davidson; a sister, Carol Sue Decker; nine grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 28, 2015 in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 South S.R. 135, Greenwood, IN 46143.
