Ray N. Bowles, 88, of Indianapolis, passed away March 14, 2014.
Born July 30, 1925 in Summer Shade, Kentucky he was the son of the late Halsey and Carlie (Wells) Bowels.
He married Betty l. Pedigo on June 14, 1947 in Kentucky.
Ray worked as an appliance repairman for Sears for over forty years, retiring in 1990. He was a member of Christ Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis.
He is survived by his wife Betty, a son, Denny Bowles; a daughter Sheila Tapy; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Verna Stokes and Alta Bowles.
