Raymond Dean Hamlin, 58, of Greenwood, passed away July 22, 2013. The son of Raymond Lee and Gwendolyn Louise Piper Hamlin, Raymond was born January 25, 1955 in Franklin, Indiana.

A member of the American Rifle Association, Raymond was an equipment mechanic at IUPUI.

Raymond is survived by a brother, Randall L. Hamlin of Indianapolis; sisters, Sheila G. Bovard of Greenwood, Shirley R. Mack (Dennis), Sharyn K. (Jack) Goodwin and Sharleen F. Tharpe, all of Franklin; eight nieces, two nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. July 26, 2013 in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, where friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Burial in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.

The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Alzheimer Disease Research Fund, Office of Gift Development - Indiana University School of Medicine 1110 West Michigan Street Indianapolis, IN 46202-5120.
