Raymond H. Zeigler, 87, of Fairland, formerly of Greenwood, passed away December 11, 2015. The son of Harry and Dorothy Geiger Zeigler, Raymond was born October 28, 1928 in Natrona, Pennsylvania.

In 1988 after 42 years, he retired as a supervisor from CSX Railroad. Raymond was a member of Fairland Christian Church, Atkins Saw Post #355 of the American Legion, Whiteland Post #6978 of the Veterans of Foreign War and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles.

Raymond is survived by sons, Richard W. (Pam) Zeigler of Fairland, Terry L. (Susie) Zeigler of Indianapolis and Tim R. (Julie) Zeigler of Greenwood; daughter, Donna R. (Thomas) Koop of New Haven; brother, John W. Zeigler of Chicago, IL; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, V. Jane Ditty Zeigler, whom he married on March 11, 1949 in Middle Run, Pennsylvania and two brothers, Ken and Floyd Zeigler.

Services 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 14, 2015 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to the time of service. Private entombment will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
