Reba Kay Kirkwood, 63, of Indianapolis passed away Saturday, November 8, 2008 at the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Mrs. Kirkwood was born on June 6, 1945 in Bargersville, IN to the late Thorton and Florence Reba Chandler, Sr. Reba worked for many years as a Quality Inspector in manufacturing. Besides her parents, Mrs. Kirkwood was preceded in death by her daughter, Tracy Whitmer. Leaving behind to celebrate the life she lived is her husband, Lawrence (Larry) Kirkwood of Indianapolis; sons, Larry (Sherry) Kirkwood of Indianapolis, Tracy (Sharon) Kirkwood of Galesburg, IL, Shawn (Beth) Kirkwood of Indianapolis; daughters, Marci Kelley, Kelli (Jim) Doss all of Indianapolis; brothers, Thorton (Sharon) Chandler II, Thomas (Sandra) Chandler all of Indianapolis; sister, Deniece Chandler of Indianapolis; 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 11, 2008 from 4-8:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, IN 46143. Service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 12 at the funeral home with Pastor Paul Kirby officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before service time.
