Regina P. Freeman, age 90, of Indianapolis, passed away March 26, 2010. She was born August 14, 1919 in Crothersville, IN to Alfred A. and Alta Mae (Nichols) Carpenter. She attended Warren Park Wesleyan Church. Regina was a homemaker, avid reader, poetry and short story writer, seamstress and gardener. Regina married Dale L. Freeman December 22, 1939, and he survives, along with her son, Jack (Dawn) Freeman, of Greenwood; daughters, Nyda Frisco, June Bryant, and Gayle Richards, all of Indianapolis; her sister, Phyllis (Richard) Fitzwater, of Bainbridge, 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Regina was preceded in death by her parents and by her son Alan Freeman on March 23, 2009. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 31, at Noon at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with visitation from 10:00AM until service time. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
