Reverend Ralph M. Stephenson, Greenwood, Indiana, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022, at the age of 92. Ralph was born April 3, 1929 in Knox County, Indiana, a son of the late Charles and Ruby (Walker) Stephenson.

Rev. Stephenson attended Freelandville High School, class of 1947. He also attended Sue Bennett College and Duke University in preparation for the ministry. He pastored several United Methodist Churches in Kentucky. Rev. Stephenson and his wife, Joan (Taylor), also a minister, retired to Florida where they lived for 20 years. Ralph and Joan were married for 70 years.

Ralph was preceded in death by his wife, Joan, and 6 brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his daughters Patricia (Michael) LaConte and Barbara Hinkle; his grandchildren, Stephen (Leslie) LaConte, MJ (Kelliann) LaConte, Joseph LaConte, Katherine (Darren Kochis) LaConte, Meghan Hinkle, Jessica (Joshua) Smiley-Bright and Stephanie (Aaron) Nees; nine great-grandchildren and his brother Rodger (Frances) Stephenson.

There will be no formal services per the wishes of the family. For those choosing to make a memorial contribution, the family has suggested those be offered to the charity of the donor's choice.
