Richard (Dick) Adams, age 89, passed away peacefully in his home on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. Dick was born October 29, 1935, in Greenwood, Indiana, to his parents Richard and Faye (Schultz) Adams. Dick married his wife, Jacqueline (Bullock) Adams on July 2, 1955.

Dick spent his life working in the construction industry. He spent his career building his family business, Adaco, Inc., with his sons. He was a 32nd degree Mason, serving his community and fellow Masons for over 30 years.

Dick is survived by his loving wife, Jackie Adams; three children, Sherri Graham, Michael Adams (Korine), Larry Adams; five grandchildren; Amii Hileman (Kelly), Melissa Bardack (Adam), Matt Adams (Sara), Richard Adams (Trista), Brian Adams (Kara) and 11 great -grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son D. Keith Adams and grandson Mark Hefley.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th at 9:00am at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow immediately at 10am.
