Mr. Ronnie Harper, age 88, of Franklin, KY, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022 at 7:13 PM at the Hospice House in Bowling Green, KY.
Ronnie was born on April 23, 1934 in Franklin, KY to the late Presley Harper and the late Jennie Mae (Uhls) Harper.
He is also preceded in death by his first wife, Bettie Holman Harper; second wife, Goldie Groves Dillard Harper; and 3 brothers, Kenny Harper, Bobby Harper and Larry Harper.
He is survived by 2 sons, Randall Harper and Curtis Harper both of Indianapolis, IN; a step-daughter, Linda Hunter (James) of Franklin, KY; one grandson, Curtis Cody Harper; three step-grandchildren, Crystal Shultz, James Hunter II and Holly Cardwell; two great-grandchildren, Hudson Harper and Harley Harper; seven step-great- grandchildren, Alyssa Hicks, Andrew Hicks, Morgan Hunter, Morrison Hunter, Jonah Cardwell, Norah Cardwell and Jett Cardwell.
Ronnie is of Christian faith. He was retired from McQuay Norris Manufacturing. Ronnie was a Mason for 64+ years and former President of the Indianapolis Racing Pigeon Club. He loved all animals especially cattle and horses.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022 from 11:00 AM EST to 1:00 PM EST at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S State Road 135 in Greenwood, IN 46143. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 16th at 1:00 PM EST with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, IN.
