Richard Lee Gordon, Greenwood, IN, passed away on Wednesday September 30, 2026. He was 48 years old. Rick was born in Franklin, IN, to his parents, Robert and Jamie Gordon. Growing up, Rick developed a love for music that carried into his adulthood. He loved anything from hard metal to classic country. Rick never passed up any opportunity, he had to enjoy live music at concerts with his family and friends.

Rick worked for Ray Skillman Collision for over twenty years. He started out detailing cars and eventually learned to work in paint preparation and pin striping. Rick enjoyed supporting his favorite sports teams including the Chicago Black Hawks, the Chicago Cubs, and the Indianapolis Indy Fuel. Rick was also known for enjoying watching NASCAR and IndyCar racing. Rick was a gun enthusiast and enjoyed going to shooting ranges and driving in his beloved Dodge Ram Truck. One of his favorite ways to relax was to go fishing with family and friends. Rick will be remembered for his sarcastic humor, his patriotic love for his country, his hardworking nature, and his love for his family. Rick will be dearly missed and forever cherished by those he leaves behind.

Rick is survived by his parents, Robert and Jamie Gordon; his sister, Chelsea Gordon Kreuzman; his grandparents, Larry and Joanne Marsh; his aunts, Debbie Hilfiker and Christine Wilborn; his uncles, Darrin Marsh and Brian Marsh.

Rick is preceded in death by his grandparents, Winnie and Bob Gordon; his aunt Sherry Gordon.
