Richard Wayne Haynes, Sr., age 69, of Indianapolis, passed away September 2, 2015. The son of Bernard C. and Marjorie L. Myers Haynes, Richard was born January 3, 1946 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

After 32 years, in 1997 he retired as a warehouse foreman with NAPA Balkamp. Richard was a member of Evergreen - Oriental Masonic Lodge #500 F & AM, Sahara Grotto and was a member of it''s Clown Unit, Order of Eastern Star Corinthian Chapter #456 and was a firefighter with the Wayne Township Volunteer Fire Department in the 1970''s. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking.

Funeral services for Richard will be held at 10:00 a.m. September 10, 2015 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on September 9, 2010 at the funeral home. Burial will follow services at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.

Richard is survived by his sons, Richard W. Haynes, II of Greencastle and Brian K. Haynes of Indianapolis; brother, Thomas R. Haynes of Henderson, NV; sister, Connie J. Price of Chatham, IL; four grandchildren.
