Richard B. Massey, 79, devoted husband of 60 years to Doris, passed away November 29, 2015. Born April 24, 1936 in Indianapolis, he was the son of the late Howard and Margaret (Gilmore) Massey. He attended Arsenal Technical High School, and is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a truck driver and member of Teamsters Union #135. He was a devoted member of Bluff Creek Christian Church. Richard was very passionate for golf, was a member of the Martinsville Golf League, and scored two holes in one. He was also the owner of Family Pizza. He was the loving father of David (Marce) Massey, Mark (Amy) Massey, Linda Murray, and Cheryl (Shawn Fisher) Massey; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Howard I. Massey Jr., and Jerry Lee. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, December 4, 2015 in Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1977 South S.R. 135, Greenwood, IN 46143. Friends may call Thursday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
