Richard Lee Miller, 84, born 10/03/1927, died 1/17/2012. Richard "Dick" served in the United States Navy Coast Guard and was a member of Southport Heights Christian Church. He was the owner of Dick Miller Construction for 17 years.
He was preceded in death by his father John F. Miller; mother Bernadine (McDowell) Miller; sister Marty McKinney; son John R. Miller and daughter Dee L. Cash.
Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Dorothy (Fritchley) Miller; son, Bret Miller (Mary); daughter-in-law, Sandy Miller; son-in-law, Butch Cash; 8 grandchildren and spouses; 18 great grandchildren, a neice, several nephews, and a half sister, Karla (Miller) Westray.
Visitation will be at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, on Saturday, January 21, 2012 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with the funeral service immediately following. Private burial will take place in West Salem, IL.
