Richard E. Palmer's Obituary
Richard E. Palmer, 86, of Greenwood passed away April 6, 2017. He was born October 5, 1930 in Indianapolis, IN to Moses N. and Gladys Elizabeth (Hager) Palmer.
Richard enjoyed boating and family activities as well as RV wintering in Florida. He was a member of Christian Chapel Church in Morgantown, IN.
He is survived by his loving wife, Retta Palmer; son, Jeffrey Palmer; step son, Mike Repass; daughters, Terri L. (Ed - deceased) Johnson and DeeAnn (Sam - deceased) Trent; grandchildren, Christopher Sullender, Tracie (Jeremy) Rhynearson, Brandie (Jason) Somerville, Nicole (Brandon) Stockton, and Sarah (Alex) Marshall and 11 ½ great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2017 from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm with a memorial service at 12:30 pm in Christian Chapel Church, 6828 W. St. Rd. 44, Morgantown, IN 46160. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Camp Allendale.
