Richard H. "Dick" Pickett, age 83, of Beech Grove, passed away November 30, 2010. He was born March 10, 1927 in Indianapolis to Harold E. and Velma (Moore) Pickett. Dick was an Army Air Corp World War II veteran. He was a Sales Manager for The Gauge Co. for many years and he was a member of the Waverly F&AM Lodge #615. Dick enjoyed spending time with his family. He married the former Shirley Foust, and she survives him as well as two sons, David (Janice) and Daniel (Cheri) Pickett; one sister Janis Barker; 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Drusilla and daughters, Leigh Jane and Cynthia Leigh Pickett. Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:00PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, with entombment to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation is from noon until service time on Saturday.
